Manage Time Off Requests

When an employee submits a request for time off, you receive a notification. This notification includes the details of the request, including the employee’s primary restaurant (if set). The notification also includes a link you can use to approve or decline the request.

You also have the option to access the Time Off Request screen within LiveIQ, review the information, and decide whether to accept or decline the request.

The information you can use includes the date when the request was submitted, name of the employee, employee role, length of time off requested, and the employee’s main restaurant (if set). The information also includes any extra text that the employee has entered.

 

  1. Click the link in your notification or click LiveIQ Labor > Employees > Time Off Requests.

  2. To approve or decline a request, click the or at the end of the row.

  3. Click Save.

    LiveIQ notifies the employee of your decision.

    If you approve the request, LiveIQ adds the time off to the Employee Calendar.
